The Bay Farm Island Real Estate Market
As new homes were being built in the mid-20th century, one by one, the farms slipped away. Today the island has the small, comfortable Harbor Bay Shopping Center, the Chuck Corica 36 hole golf course, two elementary schools, and a large complex of office and retail buildings, one of which houses the Oakland Raiders football team.
It also houses Harbor Bay, which is home to many unique and stylish home developments,each with its own architectural concepts. While it may house all of these many new places, it’s name continues to remind one of its humble history.
