The Alameda Real Estate Market

Alameda is a diverse waterfront community with a distinctive “Main Street” character. From modest bungalows and condominiums to grand Gold Coast Victorians and lagoon-front estates, Alameda offers a wide range of real estate options.

The Gold Coast features some of the Bay Area’s finest pre-1906 Victorian homes, set along wide streets shaded by mature trees. Fernside is highly desirable for its neighborhood charm and access to Edison Elementary, Lincoln Middle School, and Alameda High School.

Other popular areas include Shoreline condos along the beach, and Bay Farm Island, known for quiet streets, cul-de-sacs, and proximity to Harbor Bay and Oakland International Airport.
