Located south of Morgan Hill and north of San Benito County, Gilroy is a part of Santa Clara County. It is popular for its garlic crop and for the annual Gilroy Garlic Festival which features various food with garlic like garlic ice cream. It is known as the "Garlic Capital of the World.
