Find Your Next East Bay Home
Homes come on the market across the East Bay every day, and in competitive neighborhoods the good ones move quickly. Tell Bruce Wagg what you are looking for and he will set up a search matched to your criteria, then send you properties as they list rather than after they have been sitting on the public portals.
What happens after you submit
Bruce reviews what you have sent and follows up personally, usually the same business day. The first conversation is about your criteria and timeline. If you are early in the process and just watching the market, that is a fine place to start.
What to tell us
The more specific you are, the better the matches. Neighborhoods you are considering, your price range, bedroom and bath count, whether you need parking or a yard, and your timing all narrow the search meaningfully. If you are torn between two areas, say so — comparing them is often the most useful part of the first call.
Where Bruce works
Core coverage is Oakland, Piedmont, Berkeley, Alameda, Emeryville, Albany, and San Leandro, extending through Contra Costa County and into the Peninsula and South Bay. Browse all communities or search listings directly through the property search.
Common Questions
Is there a cost to use this service?
No. There is no cost to buyers for the search itself. Buyer's agent compensation is addressed in the purchase agreement, and Bruce will explain how that works in your situation before you write an offer.
What if I am not ready to buy yet?
That is common and it is not a problem. Many buyers start watching a market six to twelve months before they are ready. Knowing what a neighborhood actually trades at, rather than what the listing prices suggest, is worth the head start.
Will I be added to a mailing list?
You will receive the property matches you asked for and nothing else. You can stop them at any time using the link in any email.
