Where Is Oakland?
Oakland is centrally located within the greater San Francisco Bay Area, with easy access to the popular surrounding cities that make up the metropolitan area. It is directly across the Bay from San Francisco and is immediately south of both Berkeley and Emeryville.
Oakland shares a western border with Alameda along the scenic Oakland estuary.
