Rodeo Homes For Sale
Rodeo, CA is a town of approximately 11,000 residents located in Contra Costa County between Highway 80, and Highway 4. Located alongside San Pablo Bay, it is bordered by Hercules and Pinole to the south, and Crockett to the north. Its interesting town name is said to be a result of the 19th century cattle roundups each year, where livestock from the hills above would be rounded up and driven down to the marina area to be shipped out to slaughterhouses.

Much of the quiet small town atmosphere still remains in Rodeo. Its quaint downtown, with hometown owner operators offer food and services with a personal touch. Many homes date back to the earlier 20th century with their classic wooden and Bungalow construction, and newer subdivision have come along with Mediterranean, and expansive two story Spanish or ranch styles.
Recreation is available in just about every nearby city. History abounds in Vallejo and Mare Island, and Benecia invites a pleasant downtown afternoon mixed with history as well. Outdoor venues include Crockett Hills Regional Park, and Carquinez Strait Regional Shoreline.
