Courtesy of Realtor Magazine,  here is a brief summary of some of the most important paperwork that you will be seeing, whether buying or selling your Oakland home.  You will be seeing more as the negotiations progress, but be assured that I will go over each page with you carefully, so you are comfortable as you move forward.

Vocabulary: Transaction Documents

Property disclosure form

This form requires you to reveal all known defects to your property. Your real estate agent will let you know if there is a special form required in your state.

Purchasers’ access to premises agreement

This agreement sets conditions for permitting the buyer to enter your home for activities such as measuring for draperies before you move.
