It is a rare thing to see the  Firefall in Yosemite. At the end of each February, thousands of photographers and spectators alike congregate to the park to witness the Yosemite firefall, a natural phenomenon that briefly occurs when the setting sun hits Horsetail Falls. If the circumstances are just right, the reflection gives way to a magnificent illusion of a light show, seemingly causing the tumbling cascades of water to morph into liquid flames spilling over the cliff.
