Now that the Spring buying market in Piedmont is upon us, many more homes will be coming on the market, and desirable homes will be snapped up quickly.  It is important that you have an efficient plan to be able to move ahead quickly when searching for your ideal home.  While I will be assisting you in finding your home, you should have a plan based on these concepts:
1. Be firm on what elements that you must have in your new home: Â Perhaps you must have 3 bedrooms, a large back yard, or want to be in a certain school district. Â This list should contain your things that you will not give up when considering buying a new home. In creating this checklist, you may be surprised how many things are and are not as important as you initially thought that they were. Â Let's discuss this list as soon as possible, so you can get moving on your search. Â
2. Determine your "would be nice" elements: Â These would be things that you would like to have beyond your "must have" elements above. Â Maybe you would like an upgraded kitchen, a spacious garage, extra storage space, etc. . Â These would be things that you would like, but don't necessarily need in a new home.
3. Determine your "would not consider" elements: Â These would be things that you positively would not consider in your next home. Â Elements might be a noisy neighborhood, a lot of yard work, and long commute, etc.. This is an especially important list, because it will help me quickly sort through potential properties for your consideration, and not waste time with houses that you will not value.
So let's get started. Â As you can see, it is well worth your time to create these 3 simple lists, and it will certainly put you well ahead of other buyers who are just not ready to step up. I look forward to hearing from you. Â
