This spectacular image is the representation of the completion of Oakland's Brooklyn's Basin that will be located on the city's waterfront next to Jack London Square.

Bringing new life and excitement to the city, the development will include the following:

a. Thirteen Buildings of Residential Housing -both high and low rise-for a total of 3100 units. 

b. Sixty to seventy percent of these units will be homes for sale, and be a mix of condominiums, live work loft spaces, townhouses, and luxury condos.  

c. Thirty of the sites 65 acres will provide a mix of retail shops and restaurants that will be combined with delightful public parks and walkways for both residents and visitors to enjoy.  To add to the waterside charm, there will be 200 boat slips available.  

Definitive progress has been made, and includes the following features that are underway or almost done:

a. The 9th Avenue Terminal Building-- Currently anchored by:

1. California Canoe and Kayak-Features an amazing collection of kayak and canoe gear for sale, and opportunities to rent kayaks as well.  

2. Rocky's Market-An excellent grocery and restaurant the offers organic produce, sustainable meats and dairy, and an outstanding collection of beer and wines.  A kitchen and adjacent dining view deck provides pleasant waterfront dining. Catering is also available. 

 Township Commons Park-A large pedestrian walkway located alongside the Oakland estuary for a scenic and satisfying waterfront experience.  

Monthly and weekly events are held for the public sponsored by Rocky's Market and includes Jazz, Comedy, Wine Tasting, and more, as months progress. 

Artizan-The latest apartment complex in the Basin.  It compliments the Orion apartments which is already completed.  Artizan will begin taking pre-leasing applications in March of this year.   

At present, there are no firm dates as to when condominiums and townhomes are for sale, but we are monitoring the situation closely, and will advise as soon as they are available.
