You may have noticed over the last year or so, the intensive and complete renovation of 312 Sheridan Avenue.  It has been really exciting watching this Piedmont gem be transformed back to its former glory.

Just recently put on the market after being owned by only two prior families, it is a wonderful old home, circa 1920, with a fresh modern rehabilitation.  The owner had originally intended to restore the house for his parents and extended family to live in, but, upon the family's visit, they realized that it was just too large, and had too many stairs for them to manage.  With that plan out the window, they decided to continue with a full restoration, and put the house on the market.

February is a great time for fresh crab, and the Wildwood Dads Club is taking advantage of this wonderful fact and holding their annual 2014 Wildwood Dads Club Crab Feed.  Set aside Saturday, February 1st, and call your friends and neighbors to join you at 6:00 p.m. at Piedmont's Veterans Hall, 401 Highland Avenue. You will be enjoying some wonderful food.  Besides fresh all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab, the meal will feature lasagna and fresh salad.  There will be a No Host bar, and cocktails and music will start at 6:00 p.m..

There will be lots of music, and the highlight will be skits performed by the Dads Cub, which is always a favorite.  Additionally, there will be an outstanding raffle with many choice raffle prizes.  Funds raised…

Christmas is about to arrive in Piedmont, and there are so many things to do to put you and your family into the Christmas mood.  I have created a special list of family fun activities for the next few weeks. The good news is that some of these events allow you to "give back" to others, as well.

1.LIGHTING OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE--This Wednesday, December 4th, the annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Piedmont Communtity Center.  Lights will be ablaze, and Santa and his elves have promised to be there.  Christmas songs and melodies will be presented by the Piedmont High School Troubadours, and the Piedmont Council Boy Scouts will serve refreshments.  Candy canes will be given out to all good boys and girls--young and old. …
